Cleaning the outside of your tank is actually very easy and is important to keep your tank looking as pristine as possible.
one of the most important thing to remember is to not use spray chemicals on the glass. there is a chance that a spray chemical can actually enter the tank and poison the inhabitants.
There are two methods that seem to work just fine.
1. Use a pre-moistened towel made for glass cleaning (note: you still need to be cautious when working near the top of the tank). I woulg suggest to rather use a vinager solution insted of glass cleaning stuff.
2. Another method is to just wipe the tank with a wet paper towell and let dry. then wipe again with a dry cloth.
